The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has scheduled a public meeting with Duke Energy officials to discuss the status of recent Oconee plant performance. The meeting will be Thursday, November 13, at 10:30 a.m. in the NRC's Region II office on the 24th floor of the Atlanta Federal Center at 61 Forsyth Street in Atlanta.

Reporters and photographers are welcome to attend, along with members of the public, for purposes of observation. NRC officials will be available to meet with any interested observers at the conclusion of the meeting to answer questions related to the discussion.

The meeting is part of a series of bi-monthly meetings between the NRC and Duke to discuss plant performance and other issues of current interest at Oconee.
