FEMA, SBA Assistance Centers to Close for Labor Day

DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that disaster assistance centers in Iowa will be closed on Sept. 1 in observance of Labor Day.

Each center will be open its usual hours on Saturday Aug. 30 and will re-open on Tuesday Sept. 2.

Regular hours for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Business Recovery Center and the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center, located in Linn County at 2600 Edgewood Rd. SW (Westdale Mall) in Cedar Rapids, are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
