LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM) announce a change in locations tomorrow, February 11, for the Disaster Recovery Center in Pope County.

The new location of the Atkins DRC beginning 8 a.m. on Monday, February 11 will be:

McKee Hall, Church of the Assumption
103 Avenue 4 NE
Atkins, Arkansas 72823

The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will serve those affected by the tornadoes of February 5. The hours of operation will continue to be from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., seven days a week.

A DRC provides residents an opportunity to meet face to face with representatives from state and federal agencies and find answers to questions they may have about the recovery process. To get the most out of a trip to a DRC, including help with questions on individual cases, residents should register for assistance in advance of their visit.

Individuals can register for aid by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or TTY 1-800-462-7585 for those who are hearing or speech-impaired. You can also register online at www.fema.gov. FEMA operators are available 7 a.m. to midnight CST seven days a week, until further notice.

Low-interest disaster loans from SBA are available to homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes. SBA representatives are at all DRCs to meet individually with each resident or business owner to answer questions, issue applications, help them complete their disaster loan application and accept their completed applications. Anyone not able to visit a center should call SBA at 1-800-659-2955 or visit the website at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance.

Call now and register at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), 7 a.m. to midnight CST, seven days a week or for the speech or hearing impaired, TTY 1-800-462-7585. It is also possible to register online at any time on the FEMA website at www.fema.gov

FEMA coordinates the Federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terrorism.
