FEMA's Mitigation Plan Review training course is intended to foster consistent interpretations of DMA 2000 Interim Final Rule requirements; expand the cadre of FEMA plan reviewers in anticipation of a substantial influx of local mitigation plans; and identify ways to help communities improve planning capabilities and results for current and future mitigation planning efforts.
