This week, FEMA obligated more than $26 Million in Public Assistance funds to the State of Louisiana.1 ? More than $5.4 Million in funding was obligated to the Westbank Christian Center for repairs to their Pre-School and Academy. ? Over $4.4 Million in funding was obligated to the Recovery School District for repairs to several High Schools. ? More than $3.4 Million in funding was obligated to the Archdiocese of New Orleans for repairs to Redeemer-Seaton High School. ? Over $2.5 Million in funding was obligated to the Administrators of Tulane Education Fund for reimbursement of emergency protective measures. ? Over $2.5 Million in funding was obligated to Plaquemines Parish for debris removal. 1. Obligated funds are deposited into the State’s designated account. Funding disbursement by the State is subject to the applicant requesting a draw down of funds.
