Homeland Security IT Product and Service Information

The purpose of the Homeland Security IT Product and Service Information Database is to allow businesses to share information about their information technology-related products and services with people in the Information Technology divisions of DHS and its component agencies. Please make a submission to this database ONLY if your company provides information technology-related products or services. Pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA) of 1994, the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system was formed to establish a "single face to industry" for the Federal government. All companies doing business with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) must be registered with CCR. If your company is not already registered with CCR, you may desire to enter a record for your company in the Central Contractor Registration database before submitting your product and service information on this site.

This Product and Service Information database was established to supplement CCR records with technology related product and service information that will assist in performing the vital mission of securing our homeland. In providing your information on the subsequent pages you will encounter a request for your company DUNS number. While not required, DHS encourages you to enter the DUNS number. By doing so you will automatically append information about your company from your CCR record to the product and service record(s) you enter. If you are unsure if your company record is contained in CCR or if you do not know your DUNS number, performing a CCR Search may provide that information for you.

For uniformity in information collection, DHS asks that you please use the forms on this web site to describe your products and services. Please note that the purpose of accepting this information is to establish a database of products and services that are relevant to homeland security. Based on your submission, DHS may ask for clarification or for further information using the contact information you provide.

The Product and Service Information database conforms to the overall DHS Privacy Policy while permitting company representatives to provide contact information. DHS considers your submission of information to be voluntary and, as a matter of general policy, considers the information to be confidential for internal Federal government use only. DHS discourages the submission of any information where the vendor would first have to request that DHS enter into a non-disclosure agreement before submitting such information.

DHS acceptance of your information does not expressly or implicitly represent any commitment to procure a product or service. The information will be retained for reference purposes in order to understand products and services that may meet emerging requirements through procurements undertaken in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and other applicable laws.

While you may update your record at anytime, you must return at least one year from the date of the last entry or update to confirm that your record is accurate to prevent your record from expiring. We will send you an alert notice via the e-mail address you provide in your record reminding you to perform this verification in the interest of ensuring we have the most current information.

Any unauthorized attempt to upload or change information on this website is strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act. Network traffic is monitored to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Information gathered during this monitoring may be used for authorized law enforcement investigations.

Public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 30 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information. This is a voluntary collection of information. This information is designed to provide a uniform way in which companies provide descriptions of products and services to the Department of Homeland for applicable consideration. Send comments regarding this burden estimate or any other aspect of this collection of information, including suggestions for reducing this burden, to the Office of the Chief Information Officer, Department of Homeland Security, Room 4629, Washington, DC 20528, and to the Office of Management and Budget, Paperwork Reduction Project (1600- 0001), Washington, D.C. 20503.

Persons are not required to respond to this collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number.
