Natural Gas What's New?
Advance Summary U.S. Crude Oil, Natural Gas, and Natural Gas Liquids Reserves 2007 Annual Report  (10/16/2008)
This is an advance summary of EIA's report on domestic proved reserves of crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids. It presents key data tables (sorted by fuel and by geographic location) and some highlights of petroleum industry activity that impacted oil and natural gas production and proved reserves in 2007. The full report (to be published in December 2008) will contain more comprehensive data.
Estimates of Peak Underground Working Gas Storage Capacity in the United States  (10/7/2008)
This special report provides national and regional updates to estimates for U.S. aggregate natural gas storage capacity as of mid-2008. The estimates for national and regional peak capacity are based on the repored maximum reported working gas volumes for individual active facilities from January 2003 through May 2008.
Natural Gas Monthly, September 2008  (9/30/2008)

Monthly Natural Gas Production Data  (9/30/2008)
Monthly natural gas gross withdrawals estimated from data collected on the new Form EIA-914 (Monthly Natural Gas Production Report). Contains estimated monthly natural gas gross withdrawals for Federal Offshore Gulf of Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming, Other States (excluding Alaska) and Lower 48 States.
Discussion of the Sample Changes for the Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report (8/20/2008)
This special report provides details on the recent change in the survey sample for the EIA-912 survey, "Weekly Underground Natural Gas Storage Report." The transition from the old to the new sample began with the release of the Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report on May 22, 2008, and was complete with the release of June 12, 2008 (the affected working gas estimates were for weeks ending May 16, 2008, through June 6, 2008). Prior to implementation of the new sample in the published estimates, both samples were used in parallel to estimate weekly natural gas storage stocks from May 4, 2007, through May 9, 2008. This report describes a change in sampling procedure for the current sample and examines the differences between results from the old and new samples. The results are compared with the monthly data from the EIA-191 survey, as well as with each other.
