Lacey, Wash. -- Federal and state officials announced today that in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) and U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) Disaster Loan Outreach Centers (DLOCs) will be closed on Monday, January 21. All centers will reopen at the regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday, January 22.

The DRCs are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. until further notice. DRCs in the designated counties serve those affected by the severe storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides that began Dec. 1. The two DRCs are found at the following locations:

DRCs provide residents an opportunity to meet face to face with representatives from state and federal agencies to find answers to questions they may have about the recovery process. People should register with FEMA before coming to the DRC. Some phones and computers are available at the DRCs for those without access.

Individuals can register for assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or TTY 1-800-462-7585 for those who are hearing or speech-impaired. The FEMA registration line is open 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, until further notice. You can also register online at www.fema.gov. The deadline to register for disaster assistance is February 7.

There are two SBA DLOCs still operating: one in Mason County and one in Pacific County, operating both in Long Beach and in Raymond on a rotating basis. The DLOC in Mason County is open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., until further notice. It is located at:

In Pacific County, the DLOC in Long Beach is operating Mondays through Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until further notice. The DLOC in Raymond is operating Thursdays and Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until further notice. These DLOCS are located at the following addresses:

SBA representatives are at all DRCs and DLOCs to meet individually with each resident or business owner to answer any questions about SBA's disaster loan program, help them complete disaster loan applications, and accept their completed applications.  Anyone with questions about an SBA loan or who needs help with the application should call 1-800-659-2955 for SBA assistance or visit the website at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance.

Anyone who has received an SBA loan application package is urged to complete and return it to be eligible for possible additional assistance. The deadline for returning SBA applications is February 7.
