AUSTIN, Texas -- The hours of operation for all FEMA/State Disaster Recovery Centers will change this week, in anticipation of the daylight saving time change.

Beginning Thursday, Oct. 23, all centers will be open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays. The only exception is the roving disaster recovery centers, which will be open on Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., beginning Oct. 26.

A complete listing of locations and operational times for the Disaster Recovery Centers is available at www.txdps.state.tx.us/dem/pages/dr1791_drc_list.htm.

Residents are encouraged to register with FEMA before visiting a center. There are two ways to register: log on to www.fema.gov or call FEMA’s toll free number, 800-621-3362, or TTY 800-462-7585. Both numbers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, until further notice.
