Disaster Summary for FEMA-1250-DR, Alabama Declaration Date: September 30,1998 Incident Type: Hurricane Georges Incident Period: September 25 until and including Oct. 6 Counties Declared and Types of Assistance as of Oct. 13, 1998. Baldwin, Butler, Choctaw, Clarke, Coffee, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Escambia, Geneva, Lowndes, Mobile, Monroe and Washington for Individual Assistance and Public Assistance. (14) All counties in the state are eligible for assistance under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
