Overview:
Review prepositions, relative pronouns and commands. Participants with a good background in the language will explore present and past subjunctives in adjective and adverbial clauses to further develop reading, speaking and comprehension skills. ACE College Credit Recommendation Service reviewed.
Prerequisites:
Intermediate Spanish I (SPAN2210E) or equivalent.

To provide the student with further Spanish grammar review and additional topics in Hispanic civilization, culture, literature, and art to extend reading, writing, and conversational skills.

Learning Outcome
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to demonstrate appreciation for Hispanic literature and art and make oral and written presentations about Hispanic culture.

Instruction
Major topics covered in the course are a review of selected aspects of Spanish grammar, socioeconomic and modern historical aspects of Hispanic culture, and selected readings dealing with topics from Spain and Latin America.

Methods of instruction include lecture, discussion, oral and written reports, and examinations.
