Objective
To provide a review of the second year of college French, including intermediate-level grammar and vocabulary topics.
Learning Outcome
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to recognize and utilize all intermediate-level French vocabulary and grammatical concepts and will be able to conduct simple conversations.
Instruction
Major topics covered in the course include
- a review of all verb tenses and their usages;
- all pronouns and adjectives;
- negations;
- all articles;
- commonly used idioms;
- practical and daily vocabulary and modern French slang.
- French cultural and literary topics will also be introduced.
Methods of instruction include lecture, discussion, classroom exercises, presentations, tests, and final examination.
