Overview:
Tie the costs of resources to the activities that consume them and discover and manage the real cost of those activities. You are introduced to activity-based costing as described in the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board Standard #4. Learn the complete process for sound activity-based costing and discover its advantages over traditional cost accounting methods. You will also learn how to use this information in organization, management and decision processes.
Who Should Attend?
Managers and others who want to understand how to use ABC and accounting, budget and financial professionals responsible for cost accounting. Level: Intermediate.
Prerequisites:
Introduction to Federal Accounting (ACCT7001D) or equivalent experience.
