Bishop, August 3, 2008....The Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area Visitor Center and The Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association announce a presentation by author David Carle to be held at the visitor center auditorium in Lee Vining, CA on Saturday, August 8th at 7:00 pm.

David Carle, author of Introduction to Air in California, and Introduction to Water in California is an educator, local writer, and retired State Park Ranger. David now turns to another fundamental element of the natural world, "WIlDLAND FIRE", giving a fascinating and concise view of this complex topic.

David will present a program based on his latest book Introduction to Fire in California.
