Bishop, CA - July 10, 2008...Four Northern California national forests will hold a combined auction sale of used vehicles and miscellaneous equipment on Thursday, July 24th in Placerville, California.

The oral auction will have over 75 items, including used cars, trucks and equipment, and will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Eldorado National Forest Work Center, located at 2350 Carson Road in Placerville. 

Items from the Inyo, Lake Tahoe Basin, Eldorado and Tahoe National Forests will be available for viewing Monday, July 21st through Wednesday, July 23rd  from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. at the following locations:  Inyo National Forest, 798 North Main St, Bishop CA, Contact: Noreen Sellberg (760)-873-2562. For items located on the Tahoe National Forest, 13120 Loma Rica Dr., Grass Valley,  CA., and on the Eldorado National Forest, 2350 Carson Rd, Placerville, CA., Contact Diana Cole or Mike Heckendorn at (530) 621-5289.

Because this is an Oral Auction, you must attend the auction site located at 2350 Carson Road in Placerville,  on Thursday, July 24th in order to bid on the items.  

Vehicles will not be available for viewing the day of the sale.  Sale brochures may be picked up at the inspection sites on the viewing dates and on the day of the sale.

You must register if you intend to bid.  Registration will be at the auction site, 2350 Carson Road in  Placerville, beginning at 8:00 a.m. the day of the sale, Thursday July 24th.
