Bishop, CA - July 22, 2008...The Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area Visitor Center and the Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association announce two films by Peter Rhalter in the summer lecture series at the Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center.

See the Eastern Sierra, Death Valley and the Southwest bloom in a free screening of two platinum and gold award winning films. Selected by film festivals on three continents, Season of the Sand Blossoms and Desert Gold celebrate the beauty and magnificence of desert flowers.

On Friday July 25th film maker Peter Rhalter will present his films and answer questions afterward.

These programs will be given at the Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center Theater in Lee Vining,  from 7-8 pm.
