Objective:
To continue our cooperative research with NASA in studying snowmelt runoff in watersheds in the western U.S. This work is needed for improving streamflow forecasts for mountainous drainage basins.

Approach:
The ARS snow runoff model (SRM) will be refined for specific basins in order to model snowmelt during the spring season.
