Brooksville Lab celebrates 75 years!

Welcome to the STARS Home Page. STARS is a 3800 acre USDA-Agricultural Research Service (ARS) beef cattle research facility. It is located in Brooksville Florida on the Coastal Plain high sand ridge, one of many locations in the South Atlantic Area of ARS. It is operated in cooperation with the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS).
