The SoyBase Homepage not only has SoyBase access, but also will point you to Dr. Randy Shoemaker's Lab at Iowa State and contains PCR information and primer sequences for soybean SSR primers developed in the Soybean Genomics and Improvement Laboratory, Beltsville, MD.

Search for GenBank, the DNA sequence database maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)

Search dbSNP the database of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNPs) maintained by the (NCBI)

Search the database of Expressed Sequence Tags (ESTs) maintained by the (NCBI)

Examine the Unigenes that have been assembled by the (NCBI) for numberous species.

Perform a BLAST search at the NIH Center for Biotechnology.

The Genentech program Access Excellence provides an online education in the biosciences and is a good place to go for science news and everything biotech from principles and technology to issues and ethics.

Perkin Elmer, ABI (now a subsidary of Perkin Elmer), and MJ Research manufacture a wide array of biotechnology equipment.

K. Gordon Lark's Lab , at the University of Utah Department of Biology, maps new markers on the Minsoy x Noir1 map.
