Overview:
Improve your effectiveness in implementing the planning and field work phases of a performance audit. First, understand the major ingredients of each phase and how they work. Also, learn how to apply two project management techniques, useful to supervisors in keeping audit assignments on track. The first technique is the use of special conferences in making major decisions at the planning and field work verification phases. The second technique is a briefing format that can be used to share information with all levels of staff involved in the audit.

Special Note: This course focuses on the supervisor's technical role in leading audit engagements. Our course, Effective Audit Supervision (AUDT9002G), focuses on the supervisor's human relations role in leading audit engagements.
