The Network+ Certification Program is offered as a
daytime program. Daytime Program The Network+ Certification program covers the basic concepts of computer networking and prepares participants for the CompTIA Network+ examination. This examination is an industry-wide recognition of network knowledge. Successful completion of this course and the examination constitute the basis for a career in the field of networking. Network+ Certification covers the networking technologies most commonly used today. The benefit of a Network+ Certification is that it provides a portable, industry-wide recognition of professional knowledge. Certified professionals have a greater chance to qualify for a broader spectrum of positions and to achieve career advancements. Prerequisites: A knowlege of personal computers, Windows and computer hardware. A+ Certification is required prior to attending this course. Evening and Weekend Program Developed by a CompTIA committee of experts, this program identifies standards for networking professionals in information technology fields. Network+ Certification indicates that you know how to configure and install networking products and possess skills in network security and remote connectivity. Gain basic knowledge of: physical layer; data link, network and transport layers; TCP/IP fundamentals and suite utilities; remote connectivity; and network security, implementation and change control.
