Communicating Effectively Across Cultures via GS Connect (Web-based, Instructor-Supported, New)

There are no class sessions currently scheduled

Overview:
Enhance your skill and increase your knowledge of cross-cultural communication. Learn about different intercultural communication approaches, styles and patterns to gain insight into the richness of various cultures. Build skills to interact effectively with your counterparts and virtual teams on a global scale, and gain ideas on how to avoid misunderstanding.

During this four-week recorded (on-demand) online course, you progress through the entire course as a class; however, you complete the weekly assignments at your own pace and schedule. Weekly assignments typically include reviewing recorded lectures, completing assigned readings and instructional exercises, and participating in interactive discussion forums. The interactive discussion forums - led by the instructor - enable you to explore and apply the course content to your job, receive feedback and guidance from the instructor, and learn from the other class participants.
