Objective:
The objective of this cooperative research project is to jointly study genetic resistance to avian influenza and paramyxoviruses in chickens produced by siRNA technology.

Approach:
The studies will use immunological, virological, molecular, and pathological methodologies to study genetic resistance in vitro and in vivo in chickens against the viruses.
