Objective:
Develop markers for use in Marker assisted selection of grapes with resistance to Pierce's Disease and Glassy-winged Sharpshooter feeding.

Approach:
Large scales sequencing of genes in grapes (Vitis shuttleworthii) to identify resistance genes.
