NETI works with other divisions within EPA's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance to provide various types of training, such as case support, statute-specific, and job-specific courses.

NETI also provides funding to external organizations with similar missions to help extend the reach of environmental enforcement training at the local level. Four Regional Environmental Enforcement Associations - Midwest Environmental Enforcement Association (MEEA), Northeast Environmental Enforcement Project (NEEP), Southern Environmental Enforcement Network (SEEN) and Western States Projects (WSP) - provide comprehensive training programs for their member regulatory and law enforcement agencies, in part through funding from EPA. Other organizations such as the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) also provide environmental enforcement training opportunities to their members with the help of EPA.
