Slide 9: Reported TB Cases by Race/Ethnicity,
United States, 2002. In 2002, 80% of all reported TB cases
occurred in racial and ethnic minorities (30% in non-Hispanic blacks,
27% in Hispanics, 22% in Asians and Pacific Islanders, and 1% in American
Indians and Alaska Natives), whereas 20% of cases occurred in non-Hispanic
whites. |
