Presenting
the New VACMAN Training Videos!
Starring
VACMAN Trainers Jean Popiak, Lisa Galloway,
and Nikki Williams.
Training
videos for most VACMAN functions are available
via the VACMAN
home page. These additional training resources
complement the transmit training video that
became available earlier this year, which has
also been updated.
These training sessions will be useful for
new employees, or employees whose job assignments
change to incorporate additional VACMAN functions.
The new and updated training sessions are organized
by the tabs used within the VACMAN system.
Simply go to the Training
web page and select the training component
you would like to review. The video session
will automatically start in a Window on your
desktop.
Today's
Help Desk Tips
If your Secure Data Network (SDN) digital certificate
is expiring, expired, or corrupted, do the
following:
- Contact the
Help Desk and request the SDN password,
which is case sensitive.

- Go to this
web site: https://ca.cdc.gov
- Apply for
your new or renewal certificate.
- Keep the new/renewal
certificate information for future reference.

Ensure that you receive the File Upload
Complete message after uploading and
transmitting a file. The arrow below points
to this message.
If you do not receive this
message, we probably did not receive the file
-- even though you may receive the SDN email
stating that the file was sent.
If you do not receive the File Upload Complete
message after several attempts, use the non-java
applet version to upload the file. To access
this version, click as indicated by the arrow
below. Contact the VACMAN
Help Desk for further assistance.
