Responsibilities include: . Collaboration with College staff/students in planning and implementing programs addressing the needs and concerns of students, faculty and staff of diverse race, ethnicity, culture, identity and background; . Work with faculty on pedagogical/curricular issues relating to multiculturalism; . Service as a campus resource/advocate regarding diversity and multicultural issues and education; . Supervision of the Diversity Center. . The development of programs that promote civility, understanding and a respectful campus environment; . Community outreach activities to achieve College goals related to diversity. Qualifications: . A demonstrated record of achievement in the initiation, development and implementation of diversity programs through collaboration, preferably within an educational setting; . Advanced education to function as a peer among faculty/staff; . Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills; . Demonstrated familiarity with liberal arts education.
