NHANES Dietary Data Tutorial Collaborators

The NHANES Dietary Data Web tutorial was developed jointly by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the National Institutes of Health, the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

This project truly was a collaborative effort, with contributions made from analysts, information technology specialists, instructional designers, science writers, and programmers from all three agencies. The members of the tutorial team came from the Risk Factor Monitoring and Methods Branch at NCI’s Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences, the Division of Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES) at NCHS, and the Food Surveys Research Group at ARS. The Software Solutions and Engineering staff, and Office of Information Services staff at NCHS provided critical assistance in the software and graphic design of the tutorial.
