NRC ANNOUNCES NEW REGION II PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICER Printable Version
Joey Ledford has joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Office of Public Affairs staff in the agency’s Region II office in Atlanta. He comes to the NRC with 30 years experience in journalism and public relations. Ledford served as an editor, bureau chief and columnist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for 20 years. He later worked for Cookerly Public Relations, an Atlanta-based public relations agency. Prior to his service with the Atlanta newspaper, Ledford worked as a bureau chief, Washington correspondent and division news editor for United Press International. Ledford is a native of Clinton, Tenn., and a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a degree in communications.
