Arkansas Post National Memorial Junior Ranger Program
Become an Arkansas Post Junior Ranger, its easy!

  • Just complete at least five of the activities in the Junior Ranger Activity Booklet. Tour the visitor center and watch the park film.
  • Hike the nature trail and take a self-guided tour of the historic town site.

When you are finished, present your completed booklet to a Park Ranger and receive your Junior Ranger badge and personalized certificate! (for kids 7 -12)

Be a National Park Service WebRanger!
Now you can be a Junior Ranger even if you are not able to visit a national park. Just by logging on, you become a member of a growing group of young people who are interested in the world around them and involved with their nation's heritage...The WebRangers!

Imagine what Arkansas Post looked like as you walk through the old townsite area.

View exhibits about the history of Arkansas Post in the visitor center.

The park provides excellent opportunities for observing wildlife. Come and watch for deer, bald eagles, alligators and more!

The annual fishing derby for kids in June is a chance to try your hand at catching the biggest catfish!
