Invitations to Present Research

March 20-21, 2008: Dr. Rouf Mian has been invited to participate in the “Soybean Aphid Summit” of the Monsanto Company where he will present an invited talk on “Genetic characterization of the soybean aphid resistance gene in PI 243540 and development of aphid resistant soybean gemplasm”.

April 9-12, 2008: Dr. Mian has been invited to visit the “National Institute of Crop Science” of RDA in Suwon, Korea to discuss possible research collaborations and to present an invited seminar on “Marker assisted breeding for genetic improvement of soybean”.

April 13-18, 2008: Dr. Mian has been invited to make a presentation in the 5^th International Crop Science Congress to be held in ICC Jeju, Korea on “Identification of Sources of Soybean Aphid Resistance and Mapping of a Dominant Gene”.
