Objective:
The objective of this cooperative research project is to expand the field of expertise in the Center for Biological Control to include research on developing biological control methods against arthropods and non-native invasive weeds. This cooperative project will also provide enhanced training for graduate and undergraduate students, especially including experiential learning.

Approach:
Development of the Center for Excellence in Biological Control at Florida A&M University (FAMU), Tallahassee, FL. Support the state and FAMU programs in entomology, horticulture, viticulture, water quality and teaching, with research directed towards biological control and integrated pest management. Collaboration will be developed with FAMU faculty, staff and students and the USDA Animal Plant Health Inspection Service and others.
