RCRAInfo Databases

Public Access Databases are available that identify facilities, sites or places subject to RCRA regulations. High-quality, accurate, and authoritative facility identification records are created and updated through rigorous verification and management procedures that incorporate information from program national systems, state master facility records, data collected from EPA's Central Data Exchange registrations, and data management personnel.

·Envirofacts is a single point of access to select U.S. EPA environmental data. This Web site provides access to several EPA databases to provide you with information about environmental activities that may affect air, water, and land anywhere in the United States. With Envirofacts, you can learn more about these environmental activities in your area or you can generate maps of environmental information.

·ECHO makes available to the public data about facility compliance and EPA/State enforcement of environmental regulations. Facilities regulated under the following environmental statutes are included: Clean Air Act (CAA) Stationary Source Program, Clean Water Act (CWA) National Pollutant Elimination Discharge System (NPDES), and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).

Restricted Access Databases are available to EPA, state, tribal, and territorial implementers.

RCRAInfo is EPA's comprehensive RCRA information system that provides access to data supporting the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) of 1976 and the Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments (HSWA) of 1984. It is available only to EPA, state, tribal, and territorial implementers. RCRAInfo replaces the data recording and reporting abilities of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Information System (RCRIS) and the Biennial Reporting System (BRS).

·RCRAInfo Production is the official database where an Implementer of Record officially enters hazardous waste data. Only authorized EPA and state personnel have access to this database.

·RCRAInfo Pre-production is the test database that is used for training, practice, and testing of new versions of RCRAInfo, and verifying translator data loads. Only authorized EPA and state personnel have access to this database.

OTIS -- The Online Tracking Information System (OTIS) is a collection of search engines that enables EPA staff, state/local/tribal governments, and federal agencies to access a wide range of data relating to enforcement and compliance.

IDEA (Integrated Data for Enforcement Analysis) -- The Integrated Data for Enforcement Analysis (IDEA) system is a single source of environmental performance data on EPA-regulated facilities available to authorized users. IDEA maintains copies of the Agency's air, water, hazardous waste and enforcement source data systems that are updated monthly
