Information Alert 2002-5
FEDLINK has added a number of vendors since the beginning of Fiscal
Year 2002. If you have not had the opportunity to register for their
products and services, you may want to consider them as part of your
end-of-year purchasing plan.

Begins September 16, 2002
Now that FEDLINK
customers can receive their interagency agreements (IAGs) online and
their approvals by fax, FEDLINK will open its online registration
for FY2003 just two weeks before the new fiscal year.

Awards 2002 New!
Deadline
for applications is November 15, 2002.
In addition to the regular awards for the Librarian of the Year and
the Library Technician of the Year, beginning this year, FLICC will
give awards to both a small library/information center (with a staff
of 10 or fewer federal and/or contract employees) and to a larger
library/information center (with a staff of 11 or more federal and/or
contract employees).

- Direct Pay - $1,200 per service
plus 0.6% on service amounts over $100,000 in each account
- Training fees - $120 for full-day
class and $60 half-day for class in FEDLINK faclities.

ALIX-FS now includes the latest
reports for FY2000 to help you analyze your usage and spending patterns
for OCLC cataloging, ILL, and reference services. If you had difficulty
accessing FY2000 reports before (we're sorry for any inconvenience delays
may have caused!) or don't know your ALIX-FS password, please call the
