Abstract: This is an annual report containing information on training and employment activities, research and evaluation findings, an annotated bibliography of research and evaluation reports completed during the report period, and a statistical appendix. It includes information on Job Training Parnership Act programs, job training for the Homeless Demonstration Program, Apprenticeship, Senior Community Service Employment Program, Employment Service, Unemployment Insurance program, Trade Adjustment Assistance for workers, Labor Surplus Areas, National Commission for Employment Policy, and National Occupational Information Coordinating Committee. Highlighted research in this report covers strengthening workforce quality, labor market studies of specific groups, program development and improvement.

Purpose: This report was prepared in compliance with Section 169(d) of the Job Training Partnership Act. It highlights the activities within the training and employment arena.

Agency Program: This report describes the training and employment program philosophy and results in compliance with Section 169(d) of the Job Training Partnership Act.
