Abstract: The Hardware and Software
Tracking System (HAST) software system is a database designed to track hardware
and software under the control of the Office of the Solicitor (SOL). It
provides management with equipment acquisition, location, and disposal
information. It is used for performing equipment inventories of SOL Information
Technology (IT) assets.
Purpose: The Hardware and Software
Tracking System (HAST) software system was developed to provide SOL with a
method of tracking hardware and software. It provides management with data
analysis, projections, and reports.
