Abstract: The Business Operations Center recently developed the Grant and Procurement Information section of Department of Labor (DOL) Home Page. In summary, the information contained in more than 60 electronic pages and supplemental links include (1) a DOL procurement overview (with links to contracting and grant officers); (2) procurement initiatives currently being used or developed in DOL; (3) contract and grant information and resources; (4) the DOL Credit Card Program; (5) resources provided by the Office of Small and Minority Business Affairs; (6) procurement and grant statutes, OMB Circulars, policy letters, regulations and DOL Manual Series; (7) listings of agency contracting, grant officers and credit card coordinators; and (8) other Government resources such as Fed Biz Opps and Excluded Party Listing Systems.

Purpose: The purpose of the procurement portion of the home page is to provide a resource tool to customer agencies in the area of procurement and grant information to (1) empower customer agencies by ensuring tools and resources are readily available to meet their procurement and grant requirements, (2) foster efficiency in processing procurement and grant requirements, (3) engender operational self-sufficiency among customer agencies, and (4) enhance public access to information not restricted from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act. Access to these resources can be gained by either (a) entering through the DOL Home Page and clicking on Grant and Contract Information or (b) entering directly at the following website: http://www.dol.gov/oasam/grants/main.htm.

Agency Program: To assist in implementing the Department of Labor Procurement Management Program (DOL Manual Series 2, Chapter 830) which provides (DOL) policies and procedures for carrying out the procurement and assistance actions within DOL.
