The National Archives for Black Women's History is open by appointment only.

Did You Know?
In 1904, Mary McLeod Bethune opened a small school in Daytona Beach, Florida, with five girls and one dollar and fifty cents. That school developed into Bethune-Cookman University. Today, the university has over 3,060 students enrolled.
