NIDRR Performance Measures and Tools for Outcomes PlanningNIDRR GPRA Performance Measures NIDRR GPRA Performance Measures
Not all performance measures listed in this document apply to each award. For information on the specific Performance Measures associated with a given award, the user should refer to the Federal Register announcement for that award. Or, if the grant was awarded prior to the inclusion of performance measures, the grantee should contact the project officer for that award. NIDRR uses these performance measures to evaluate the overall success of its research program. Each year NIDRR examines, through expert review, a portion of its funded projects to assess the quality of grantee performance and products. NIDRR uses information submitted by grantees as part of their Annual Performance Reports (APRs) for these reviews. NIDRR also determines, using information submitted as part of the APR, the number of publications in refereed journals that are based on NIDRR-funded research and development activities. The Department's program performance reports, which include information on NIDRR programs, are available on the U.S. Department of Education Web site: http://www.ed.gov/offices/OUS/PES/planning.html.
