The town court has two judges that hold court on Wednesday evenings. Other arraignments, etc are handled on a demand basis. Court is held at the Town Hall, 5 Clarence Center Road, in the Village of Akron. The justices are elected for a four-year term.
The justices handle all legal matters that come before the town residents, such as traffic violations, small claims, as certain trials. This normally does not include the Village of Akron activities.
