Objective:
To test populations of bollworm and tobacco budworm for resistance to Bt proteins.

Approach:
F1/F2 larvae of field-collected bollworm/budworm from areas where over 75% of the cotton grown is transgenic Bt varieties will be tested. Insects will be evaluted at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Southern Insect Management Research Unit at Stoneville, Mississippi
