About PDF Files

The EPA publishes documents electronically using Portable Document Format (PDF) as a fast and cost effective way of distributing printed materials to it's audience. Visually, PDF documents are identical to the original print versions. To read files in PDF, you will need special reader software loaded on your computer. Adobe Reader is available, free of charge, from Adobe Software. The software allows you view and print PDF files on all major computing systems.
