Camping
Hamburger Rock is the only developed campsite in the corridor and is located near the entrance of Canyonlands National Park. A private campground is located at the Needles Outpost, just outside the entrance to the park. Squaw Flat campground is located just inside the park and fills early during busy seasons.
Camping at Bridger Jack Mesa, Donnelly Canyon, Creek Pasture, and Hamburger Rock Campground, is restricted to designated camping zones.
Camping in the area of Newspaper Rock has been CLOSED due to flash flood danger.
There are primitive dispersed camping opportunities on public land within the corridor. Please do not trespass onto private land.

Rock Climbing
Indian Creek affords many opportunities for rock climbing. New routes and bolting are allowed. Alteration of rock surfaces and removal of vegetation is prohibited.
Many of these climbs can only be reached by crossing private land. Please use existing trails, respect private land signs and fences. Climbing on petroglyphs is unlawful and destructive.
Sanitation and Garbage:
A pack-in/pack-out policy will be enforced in all areas in the corridor without restrooms:
● Adherence to the Leave No Trace standards is required.
● Provision and use of a bag system or portable toilet is required.
● Use of cat holes is prohibited.
● Leaving or burying toilet paper is prohibited.
● Packing out all trash and garbage is required.
● Screening or filtering of grey water is required before dumping.
All dispersed campers in the Indian Creek Corridor must take out their human waste. Waste disposal bags are available at the following locations: Super Crack, Superbowl, Creek Pasture, and Bridger Jack.
Water, Gas, and Supplies
You should plan to carry all the water you may need as there is no drinking water supplied at the campgrounds. Gas and other supplies are available in Monticello, Moab, or from mid-March through October at the Needles Outpost located just outside the park entrance.
