Law Enforcement
Possessing or using
fireworks on public lands is illegal, and violators will be issued a citation
that holds up to $5000 or six months in jail or both. Individuals responsible
for starting a wildfire on public lands will be held responsible for the
cost of putting the fire out, resource damage and rehabilitation to the
land.
