Texas A&M Bioinformatics Working Group
Base Data Files

Working data files:  Data files used for various TAMU-BWG operations will be placed here as time permits.

Output Data files:        Astcdata.zip  Britdata.zip Shstdata.zip  Taesdata.zip Tamudata.zip  Texlldata.zip

Data files listed above are compressed (zip), delimited text files generated by either the Tracy herbarium data input system or other sources (TEX/LL, SHSU) and expressed by the TAMU-BWG Specimen Browser.  These files are replaced periodically by updated sets as specimen data input proceeds.  Output date is indicated by the un-zipped file name.  Updated files will show changes with regard to both quantity (new specimens) and quality (corrections/updates for available data) as we develop the specimen databases and curate local herbaria. The files represent data taken from specimens housed at Texas A&M campus herbaria (TAES, TAMU), Texas material, mostly Poaceae, available for input via loans from or visits to Stephen F. Austin State University (ASTC), the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT), and Sam Houston State University (SHST), or processed output files from data capture at TEX/LL and SHSU.
