First Environments Early Learning Center

Federal families use a number of different child care options that include the various leave programs, flexible work schedules, subsidy programs, and on- or off-site facilities to help with their child care responsibilities. All of these programs and policies are designed to give Federal employees the flexibilities they need to manage their personal and professional responsibilities.

First Environments Early Learning Center Information
The First Environments Early Learning Center (FEELC) located at the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, is a high quality full-time child care center available for the children of Federal and on-site contractor employees.

Flexible Spending Account Program for Federal Employees
This voluntary benefits program is available to all eligible Federal employees. The flexible spending account is a resource whereby parents can use pre-tax dollars to help pay for child care costs.

EPA Child Care Tuition Assistance Program
This program provides financial assistance with child care tuition costs.

Family-Friendly Leave Programs
There are a variety of leave programs available to Federal employees.
