| Description: | Hundreds of runners and walkers will descend upon the beautiful Oklahoma City Zoological Park and surrounding 5K
sanctioned course as a celebration of their fundraising efforts in the weeks leading up to the run and walk on May 10. Runners pay an entry fee,
which includes timing chip and t-shirt - but are encouraged to form a team to raise a TEAM GOAL of $1000 for Clean Air programs. Prizes will be
awarded to the 1st and 2nd finishers in each age division. Walkers in the 1-mile Fun Walk pay no entry fee to walk, however will be asked to donate
$1 per person at the gate to cover the costs the Zoo charges us, to help us do the most with our donor dollars! Walkers are encouraged to raise
$100 and upon their success, they will receive an official Clean Air Challenge T-shirt! Teams are strongly encouraged to raise $1000 or more, and
teams can consist of any number of participants. Kid's Dash Contestants pay a $5 entry fee, and are eligible for multiple prizes based on age group
and finish time. Funds raised by walkers go to support Research, Education and Advocacy for Programs in the Oklahoma City and surrounding communities. |
