Abstract:

This notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) and notice of public
hearing proposes modifications to the Hazard Communication Standard,
published in the Federal Register on August 24, 1987 (52:31852),
including a determination made by the Office of Management and
Budget (OMB) under the Paperwork Reduction Act regarding the
information collection requirements of the final rule. OSHA is
inviting comment for sixty (60) days following publication of this
NPRM, and is scheduling a public hearing to provide an opportunity
for additional input. Comments must be received by October 7, 1988.
The hearing will be November 15, 1988.
