NOTES: The usual place to go
for medical care does not include a hospital emergency room. The analysis
excluded 168 persons with unknown usual place to go for medical care.
DATA SOURCE: Sample Child Core component of the 2001 National Health Interview Survey.
|
Over
the four age groups, children aged 14-17 years were least likely to have a
usual place to go for medical care.
|
Hispanic
children were less likely than white non-Hispanic and black non-Hispanic
children to have a usual place to go for medical care. Adjusting for age
and sex did not change this result.
